Transformers: The Headmasters: The peace at the Destron base on Charr is suddenly upset when two newcomers arrive. The Destrons attack them, thinking they are Cybertrons. In reality, they are the Horrorcons Apeface and Snapdragon who have the ability to transform from robots into either jets or animals, and they have been asked by Galvatron to join the Destron army. The Cybertrons learn of the new recruits, and Spike, worried that the war will never end, decides to seek out a peace agreement with the Destrons before the galaxy is destroyed. Galvatron receives word of Spike's offer to negotiate a peace agreement, and orders Scorponok and Soundblaster plan a trap. The Destron leader agrees to meet with Spike in Shangri-La, but only if Spike brings his wife and son with him. Later, in Shangri-La, Galvatron and Spike begin their meetings while Carly and Daniel are placed in the custody of the Horrorcons and the Cybertron Headmasters are forced to remain outside. Galvatron asks Spike for a token of trust, such as leaving Daniel with the Destrons. Meanwhile, Doublespy discovers another Galvatron still at the Destron base and reports his orders to steal energy throughout the universe to the Cybertrons. With this new information, the Headmasters mobilize to rescue Spike and his family. They confront the Galvatron on Earth with the existence of the Galvatron at the Destron base and the Galvatron in front of them reveals himself to be Sixshot, which starts a fierce battle that leads outside. The Cybertrons easily defeat the Destrons, who escape through the space bridge. The Cybertrons try to follow, but Sixshot destroys up the space bridge, leaving them unable.
