The Flying Doctors : The town grows suspicious when a man called Nigel arrives and starts spending 100 dollar bills. Things look even more dubious when Nancy discovers he has a gun. There is a cricket match set up between Coopers Crossing and Windoona, and Baxter manages to offend everyone in his home town when he betrays them to play for the opposition. During the match Nigel gets injured when a ball hits him in the eye. Unfortunately, when Chris does an eye examination it unearths more problems: he has a melanoma. Nigel will die without an operation on his eye, but he will be rendered blind with it. He would rather die than go blind and so he refuses the operation. Eventually it's Kate who manages to talk sense into him.
