Packed to the Rafters: The birth of the newest member of the Rafter family is fast approaching, and this gets the whole family thinking and rethinking their various paths in life. For Nathan it is all about evaluating his professional options and trying to choose a viable career path. His latest thoughts are about pursuing a career in event management, but Sammy just hopes that he chooses a suitable path in life before he sends her crazy. Maybe Nathan should take up a career as a private detective? Through some searching on the internet Nathan tracks down an address for Dave's father and takes a drive to the country to have a look. There, through speaking with a guy who seems to be his cousin named Coby, he learns that Dave's father is a petty criminal who is currently in jail for car rebirthing. On doctors orders Julie is still confined to bed and this is sending her bonkers, especially with the baby shower happening. Julie is sure Rachel is incapable of making a cake that can be consumed and enjoyed by humans. This then adds extra pressure on Rachel as she is now "Baby Shower Planner Number One". Then just to cause Rachel even more angst, Chrissy sends a text warning that she is unable to make the baby shower. Rachel doesn't know what is going on between Chrissy and her mother since they have always been the best of friends and she is concerned. Julie is hurt by Chrissy not attending the baby shower but makes excuses to the rest of the party on her behalf. Warney is still maddly in love with Trish and due to his moping and pining, is an even worse housemate than usual. Ben and Mel want him to move out and appeal to Carbo to get him gone as soon as possible. Carbo turns to Sammy and asks her to help him get her mother and Warney back together. Sammy is repulsed at the idea, but sometimes wonders whether it would be better that her mother was with Warney than her rich aging boss Andrew Malouf.
