Little House on the Prairie: When Percival's father dies and leaves the family business to him and Nellie in New York, Harriet is distraught to learn that her cherished daughter's absence is now permanent. As her depression worsens, Doc Baker suggests that they adopt a little girl to fill the void. Reluctant toward the idea at first, Harriet has a change of heart after visiting with little Cassandra, and before long she and Nels are traveling to an orphanage in Sleepy Eye.
