Little House on the Prairie: In exchange for working from sunup to sundown each day, Almanzo asks only for a nice meal and some tender loving care from his wife, but Laura--who is determined to establish a good reputation as Walnut Grove's new teacher--upsets him by devoting too much time to her schoolwork. The newlyweds get into an argument, and although tempers are cooled by the next day, Laura is pushed over the edge when she sees Almanzo chatting with a beautiful female friend.
