Little House on the Prairie: Reverend Alden offers 15-year-old Mary her very first teaching job in a backwoods community, where he presides over some Sunday services. School is being implemented in the town as a Church project, and while Mary is determined to do her best, she experiences immediate difficulty with the timid students, along with the bullying father of the family with whom she is boarding.
