EastEnders: Alfie and Little Mo are stunned that Kat is back and rush out of the Vic. Little Mo feels that Kat's return changes everything for her and Alfie but he insists that it doesn't. Kat catches up with them and asks to talk to Alfie alone. Alfie tells Kat that she can't keep leaving and expecting everyone to be waiting for her. Little Mo calls on Billy to tell him of Kat's return and he quickly tells her that he is not prepared to cover for her and Alfie. She confesses to him that she kissed Alfie but that's as far as it went. Kat takes Alfie to a club where he tells her about what's been happening since she left. She is delighted to hear about Andy's death but Alfie insists that it doesn't mean they can start over. Kat demands to see Alfie's market stall. She makes him laugh with an imitation of his sales patter. For a minute, he forgets everything and looks at her tenderly but then he remembers his anger. Billy confides that he can't take the pain anymore. He wants a divorce. Little Mo is shocked by this and tells him it's not necessary. She declares that Alfie's just a mate - she doesn't love him. Billy admits that he loves Freddie and that he will still treat him like a son. She realsises that she still loves Billy and tells him there might still be a chance. He promises not to tell Kat about her and Alfie, but Little Mo insists there's nothing to tell. Kat and Alfie reminisce about their first meeting. Kat remembers how Little Mo made her realise that she loved him. She wishes that she could be more like Little Mo, which makes Alfie looks away guiltily. He insists that is it wasn't Andy; something else would have broken them up. Kat wonders if Alfie has met someone else when she notices he is not wearing his wedding ring. He pauses but then denies it. She breaks down and cries about her struggle to forget him. She begs for forgiveness and promises to show him that they are meant to be together.
