In the tradition of genial stories of British schoolchildren defying a comically overbearing authority comes A FEAST AT MIDNIGHT. Magnus is sent to an exclusive boys' school in Dover while his father lies in convalescence. Having gotten used to his father's exquisite cooking, the first thing Magnus notices when he arrives is the ultra-bland, albeit healthy, food that the boys are served. With the help of his father's recipes, Magnus sets out to make friends and rock the boat by sneaking into the kitchen each night and preparing a series of delicious desserts.
