Midsummer Eve 1973, Annie and her daughter Mia are on their way to the isolated Stjärnberg collective to start a new life with her boyfriend Dan. On the way there, she finds two people murdered in a tent. That same evening, Johan runs away from home and gets a ride with a mysterious woman. Almost 20 years later, in 1991, the tent murders at Lobberån still affect the people in Svartvattnet.
